Your real battery level, live in the signal.

The battery distress beacon

When your battery dies, light the signal.

Plug in, pick a target, walk away: at 80 or 100 percent BattSignal fires the searchlight and calls you back with a dramatic synth score until you stop it or unplug. In between: the prettiest battery beacon in the night sky.

Coming soon for iOS and Android

Coming to the stores

BattSignal launches soon for iOS and Android. Until then: keep a charging cable handy.

What BattSignal does

  • A charging alarm with a show

Pick 80 or 100 percent and walk away: once your battery gets there, the signal fires and keeps sounding until you stop it or pull the cable.

  • Real battery level in the signal

No fake gauge: the projected battery logo shows the actual charge level of your device, down to the percent.

  • Hand-crafted synth sound

No canned sample: the dramatic score is synthesized live, right on your device. No sign-up, no ads.

How it works

  1. Plug it in

Charge your phone, leave BattSignal open, the screen stays on thanks to wake lock.

  2. Pick a target

80 percent for battery health or 100 percent for the long haul. BattSignal keeps watch, you do something else.

  3. Get called back

Target reached: the searchlight fires and the synth calls through the house until you stop it or unplug.
