4. Server log files

The server infrastructure automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits automatically:

This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR: the website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of the website.

5. Consent and consent banner

On your first visit a consent banner appears. Tracking and analytics services are only loaded after you have explicitly consented (opt-in). Declining is equally easy and carries no disadvantage — if you decline, the site remains entirely tracking-free. The legal basis for any consent is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG.

We store your choice locally in your browser (localStorage) only, not as a cookie and without transmitting it to us or third parties. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future — via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. The lawfulness of processing carried out until withdrawal remains unaffected.

The battery level shown on the start page is determined locally in your browser only and is neither stored nor transmitted.

6. Analytics tools

Google Analytics 4

This website uses — only with your explicit consent via the consent banner ("Statistics" category) — the web analytics service Google Analytics 4. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics allows us to analyse the behaviour of website visitors and to measure the reach of our offering. For this purpose the service uses cookies or comparable recognition technologies and processes, among other things, information about pages visited, approximate location, device and browser data and your IP address. Google Analytics 4 truncates IP addresses as a matter of principle and does not store them permanently; this anonymisation is built into the service and cannot be switched off. The information generated is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server.

We use Google Analytics with Google Consent Mode (v2) enabled: without your consent no analytics cookies are set and no advertising signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are transmitted. The analytics tag is only loaded after you consent to the "Statistics" category.

Use is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG). Without consent Google Analytics is not loaded. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

The data transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses; Google is also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details and objection options: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Data processing: Processing is carried out on the basis of Google's data processing terms (Google Ads Data Processing Terms), which ensure processing on our behalf in accordance with the GDPR.

You have the right to obtain, free of charge at any time, information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing. You also have the right to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of this data, as well as to data portability.
